Purpose
Well designed and functional working desk has two places for operators, enough space for a PC (personal computer), which supervises the fault counter and fault removing. There is a place for tools and equipment as well.
The communicator 2/10 is a microprocessor device that enables selection of two out of ten testing hooks for adequate DIS 1/10 testing. The device also maintains the communications with the installation worker in the field.
DIS 1/10 is DIS 1 modified by upgrading some functions necessary for IKS 2/10.

 

 

Test control desk 2/10 (IKS 2/10) is designed for:

  • Communication with subscribersTest control desk 2/10
  • Testing, malfuncion locating and interwork with the installation worker for removing the operational disturbance on all subscriber's lines and the terminal sets for all types of telephone exchanges. It is especially suitable for the distribution frames of high capacity with high intensity telephone traffic.

IKS 2/10 consists of:

  • Working desk
  • Communication device K 2/10
  • Two DIS 1/10 devices (Digital testing table 1/10)

IKS 2/10 allows:

  • Admission of all fault complaints by subscribersIKS2/10
  • Information on the progress in fault elimination
  • Simultaneous testing of two subscriber lines
  • Selection of two out of ten subscriber lines for testing
  • Visual indication of line selected for testing
  • Audio and visual indication that the installation worker selected subscriber line
  • Selection of the wire used by installation worker for calling (ab, a, b)
  • Signalization from the installation worker that he occupied the adequate pair (two tone signal)
  • Performing all tests that DIS 1/10 provides on the selected line
